Corpus-based Instruction of Gerunds and Infinitives: The Case of EFL Learners

چکیده
The last decades witnessed the significant impact of using corpora on linguistics and language education. Particularly, introduction direct application Data-Driven Learning (DDL) has brought helpful tools in learning teaching languages. This study investigated effect confusing grammatical constructs , gerunds infinitives, to EFL students. Further, explore d students’ perceptions grammar. adopt ed a mixed method research design involving triangulation quantitative qualitative data collection methods. A proficiency test pre- post - tests were administered 89 sophomore students . questionnaire semi structured interviews used results indicated statistically difference between control experimental groups favor for group that received corpus-based instruction infinitives.
